The company is headquartered in Lanham, MD (15 minutes outside of Washington, DC), where we have built a skilled team of professionals to provide excellent construction and construction management for federal and state government agencies (civilian or military).

Position Description

The selected candidate will be a driven individual who can build relationships with people from many different backgrounds and are looking to work for a company that gives their customers a high level of service, this Customer Service position is the ideal opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the highest level of customer service to our customers.
• Track daily government or commercial contract opportunities.
• Initiate or handle incoming calls with customers by phone.
• Take customer orders over the phone.
• Communicate product knowledge, service features, and benefits.
• Product research to satisfy customer requirement.
• Works in partnership and collaborates with the Sales Manager and Sales Reps on projects
• Construction project bid involvement, and general interactions with General Contactors and Subcontractors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen (10-15) years of customer service experience.
• Five to seven (5-7) years of experience with a Wholesale Maintenance, Repair and Operations company.
• Seven to ten (7-10) years of experience working on federal government contracts using databases such as:
◦ GovWin
◦ Construct Connect
◦ Planhub
• Seven to ten (7-10) years of customer service experience working with:
◦ Federal, state, and local government customers
◦ Large corporations
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license as well as reliable transportation.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree.
